Mobile Occupational Medicine

We are seeking an audio technician to join our growing mobile occupational medicine team!

The position will be involve medically evaluating/qualifying workers’ hearing abilities for regulated and non-regulated employment, including pre–placement, return-to-duty, medical surveillance, equipment operator (crane), and DOT physical examinations. This does not include continuity of care-treatment.  Additional duties may be required, as needed.

All training for the occupational testing tasks will be provided by our supervisory staff on all aspects of Occupational Medical Surveillance and all training is paid. Occupational testing tasks may include, but not limited to, audiometric, spirometry (PFT), respiratory FIT, vision test, and DOT drug/ breathe alcohol testing.

Requirements:

• At least 21 years old
• CAOHC & NIOSH certified (training provided)
• 1-3 years relevant work experience
• Valid drivers license with good driving record
• Prior medical experience preferred

Skills/Competencies:

• Perform audio testing on mobile medical units
• Understand OSHA/NIOSH hearing requirements
• Ability to stand, kneel, sit and drive for extended periods of time
• Careful attention to detail, with excellent organization and time management skills.
• Outstanding professionalism and interpersonal skills for working with worker patients.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.

Hourly rate / compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and commitment to meet job requirements as listed.

• Daily per Diem paid for overnight stay when out of town.
